Water Quality Specialist

About this role

• **Job Overview** Savannah Riverkeeper is seeking a dedicated Water Quality Specialist to lead field sampling, lab coordination, and data collection.
• Key responsibilities include managing ongoing water quality monitoring throughout the 10,000 square mile watershed (predominantly focused from Savannah to Augusta), communicating water quality results to stakeholders and community members, and supporting sampling requirements across regional watershed restoration initiatives.
• **Travel Requirements:** This is a project which spans the entire Savannah River Basin.
• Applicant will be expected to travel to perform duties on project that extend throughout the watershed.
• Travel will be reimbursed.
• Ideal candidate has vehicle capable of towing trailers.
• **Boat Experience:** Candidate must have boating and trailering experience.
