• **Position Overview** Pleasant Hill Elementary is seeking a passionate and qualified teacher for the **Fifth Grade**.
• The teacher will be responsible for creating a positive and effective learning environment, delivering lessons aligned with state standards, and fostering a culture of academic excellence.
• We are looking for an individual who is committed to student growth and development and who can work collaboratively with a team of dedicated and passionate educators.
• **Responsibilities** * Teach ELA, Math, Science, & Social Studies to students in Fifth Grade in accordance with Illinois state standards and district guidelines.
• * Develop, plan, and deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
• * Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
• * Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback on academic performance.
• * Manage classroom behavior in a positive and supportive manner.
• * Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices.
• * Communicate regularly with students and parents/guardians to ensure academic success.
• * Participate in professional development activities and staff meetings.
• * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for grades, attendance, and student behavior.
