About this role

• Gateway Christian Academy (GCA) is a growing Christian private school serving children from Preschool - 5th grade.
• We are Christ-centered and Biblically based school with small class sizes.
• We are currently accepting applications for Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year.
• **Required Education:** * Must have a bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited college/university * Elementary teaching experience preferred but not required.
• This is a perfect opportunity for a first year teacher.
• * Knowledge of Abeka Curriculum preferred * Valid state teaching certification is a plus but not required.
• **Required Personal Qualities:** * Have received Jesus Christ as his/her personal Savior.
• * Believe that the Bible is God's Word and standard for faith and daily living.
• * Be in whole-hearted agreement with the school's Statement of Faith and Christian philosophy of education.
• * Be a member in good standing at a local, evangelical church that has a Statement of Faith in agreement with the school's Statement of Faith **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** * Must display strong written and verbal communication skills * Must have strong problem-solving skills * Must have experience or ability to serve students with varying exceptionalities **Other:** * Must pass a Level 2 Background Screening Job Types: Full-time, Contract Benefits: * Paid time off Work Location: In person
