• Location : Ibadan, Oyo State Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and highly organised Account Officer to support the company's financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, monitoring inventory documentation, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting procedures.
• Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
• Process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Carry out bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain supporting documentation.
• Monitor inventory records and sales documentation.
• Verify transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Support payroll administration and statutory remittances.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations.
• Experience in auditing would be additional advantage Requirements A bachelor's degree (B.Sc.
• or HND equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme is mandatory.
• A minimum of two (2) years and a maximum of five (3) years of post-NYSC experience in an accounting-related role.
• Practical knowledge of at least one accounting software package.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Candidates must currently reside in Ibadan or be willing to relocate.
• Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of inventory management and cost accounting.
