• Now Hiring - Lead Carpenter BJ Contracting is looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team!
• We are looking for a dependable, hands-on carpenter with strong leadership skills who takes pride in their work and knows how to lead by example.
• Responsibilities: * Lead, train, and supervise a crew of construction workers on job sites.
• * Be hands-on and actively participate in daily construction tasks.
• * Organize and oversee daily job-site activities.
• * Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship.
• * Work well with others and maintain a positive team environment.
• * Communicate effectively with crew members and management.
• * Set a good example through strong work ethic, professionalism, and accountability.
• Qualifications: * Strong carpentry and general construction experience.
• * Previous leadership or crew management experience preferred.
• * Ability to train, motivate, and lead a crew.
• * Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• * Dependable, hardworking, and willing to get your hands dirty.
• * Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
• The Ideal Candidate: Someone who isn't afraid to get out in the field, work alongside the crew, teach others, take responsibility, and make sure the job gets done right.
